I have been reading the book The Story of Mankind by van Loon, who wrote the famous book Tolerance. The first time I read his work was like ten years before. the Prologue of Tolerance, in one of Readers' Digest. He has the gift of writing history in an attracting way. Just like my fond of Joseph's lessons, I like reading this kind of books. Not mention his beautiful hand-painted illustrations!
I haven't bought any books for quite a long time. With my Kindle, I am now reading a lot though. Most times, it is enough to read most of the books on Kindle. To be honest, we should not buy illegal printed books. However, this is the charms of Kindle. I can read books before I pay for them. This is just like in a library, where you can read books free of charge. However you will want to buy some of the books for your own, some great books, and those books you like too much.
I personally have a stamp of book collectiong. On that stamp there are Chinese characters and Latin words, showing the posession of books. Each time when the great books are delivered to me, I feel so happy and satisfied to affix my stamp on them. not always can I read throgh them soon, I still feel that I have a better chance to know more from each book I get for myself.
